Gregorian and Lunar Date Conversion
Gregorian calendar is based on solar system, and Lunar calendar is based on moon phases. Some of the eastern countries like China, Vietname, Thai and Korea use lunar calendar in conjunction with the Gregorian calendar. As lunar calendar is based on the monthly cycles of the Moon's phases, the new year falls on different day each year.
